A secure, well-cooled and organized server room – from the first plan to a finished, operational infrastructure.
Building a server room is more than just placing equipment – it requires a well-considered cooling, electrical and cable management solution so the infrastructure runs safely and reliably in the long term. We design the server room to match the number of devices and load, assess cooling and electrical capacity requirements, build a tidy cabling system, and install access control where needed. This service is aimed at businesses – from a small server cabinet in an office to a full dedicated server room.
Server room mistakes often only become apparent later – insufficient cooling gradually shortens equipment lifespan, while poorly planned cable management makes any future maintenance slower and riskier. That's why, already at the design stage, we calculate the expected heat and electrical load rather than adapting to it after the fact. This approach avoids costly rebuilding down the line if the number of devices grows.

Labeled and documented cabling system
We calculate and design a cooling solution matched to the equipment's heat load.
We provide a sufficient and safe electrical connection for the server equipment.
We build an organized cabling system with clear labeling for easier maintenance.
We install access control for the server room where restricted access is needed.
Regardless of room size, every server room must meet certain basic requirements for the equipment to run safely and reliably. Cooling must be sufficient to prevent overheating – this means not just air conditioning, but also proper airflow planning between devices. Electrical capacity must be stable and have headroom for future expansion, ideally with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for critical cases. Access to the room must be restricted to authorized personnel only, and the cabling system must be clearly organized and labeled, so maintenance doesn't become a guessing game.
The specific requirements vary depending on the number of devices and the load – a small server cabinet's requirements are much simpler than those of a dedicated server room with dozens of devices. If you'd like to assess yourself whether your existing or planned room meets the basic requirements, see our server room build checklist.
Some clients come to us planning an entirely new server room in a new or renovated space – here there's the greatest freedom to design cooling, electrical and layout from scratch. Others come with an existing server room or cabinet that no longer meets their needs – often because the number of devices has grown but cooling or electrical capacity hasn't been increased accordingly. In such cases, we assess what can be improved in the existing room without a full rebuild, and where more substantial investment is needed.
Cable management in the server room is closely tied to our structured cabling systems service, since the server room is often the point where the building's entire network infrastructure connects. Messy cabling in the server room not only makes maintenance harder but can also reduce airflow and cooling efficiency. That's why we plan cable routes together with the cooling and electrical solution, using labeled patch panels and a well-thought-out network cabinet layout, so that any specialist brought in in the future can easily find their way around the system.
We discuss the number of devices, load and the possibilities of the existing space.
We prepare a cooling, electrical and cable management solution with a written proposal.
We carry out the construction and equipment installation according to the design.
We offer ongoing server room maintenance and monitoring.
