Design, installation and maintenance of digital infrastructure in Jekabpils and the surrounding area.
Datortīklu izbūve offers design, installation and maintenance of digital infrastructure in Jekabpils and its surrounding area. Jekabpils is located in the Latgale region and is a state city whose current economic role is tied to being a regional center, with logistics, services, manufacturing and a crossing point on the Daugava. According to available data, Jekabpils's population is approximately 20,685. Jekabpils is one of the largest population centers in Latvia, and both private individuals and businesses use our services here.
Given the character of Jekabpils, the most frequently requested services in this area are structured cabling systems, video surveillance and access control — because the concentration of offices, production facilities and institutions creates demand for reliable, well-documented network infrastructure. This doesn't mean our other seven services aren't available here: we work across all of Latvia with a base in Riga, and in Jekabpils we provide the full range of services regardless of whether it's a private house, an apartment or business premises.
More specifically, "Video Surveillance" is a relevant service here because both private properties and commercial sites in this area have a real need for monitoring their grounds and entrances. "Access Control," meanwhile, matters because port, industrial and logistics facilities need controlled access to premises and grounds. We assess every project individually — this service priority is based on Jekabpils's general economic character, and does not mean we only offer these three services or that your specific situation automatically fits this pattern.

A town. Development: a small-town center, single-family houses, remnants of a former narrow-gauge railway and rural properties. Current role: local services, agriculture and forestry. Distances between populated places are large; access is via regional roads.
A town. Development: small-town buildings, single-family houses and an extensive surrounding area of rural farmsteads. Current role: cross-border services, agriculture and forestry. Its more remote location requires regional trip planning.
A village and parish center. Development: village development, single-family houses, multi-apartment buildings and rural properties. Current role: a Jekabpils commuter function, local services and agriculture. The placement of bridges over the Daugava determines access to the other side of the city.
A district of Jekabpils and a historic area. Development: multi-apartment buildings, single-family houses, railway and commercial sites. Current role: transport, logistics, services and residential use. The bridge over the Daugava and railway infrastructure concentrate traffic.
In Jekabpils and the surrounding area, a few local conditions are worth noting: the risk of flooding along the Daugava and a limited number of bridges can be a significant factor in local access. This is general context, not a claim that a specific issue exists at every site — we assess the real situation during the site visit.
No matter which part of Jekabpils or its surroundings you're in, the process starts with a free consultation where we discuss your needs. If necessary, we arrange a site visit, prepare a written proposal, and carry out the work once it's approved. Distance from Riga affects only the planning schedule, not the availability or quality of the service.
In addition to the services above, we also offer the remaining seven services — structured cabling systems, Wi-Fi, fiber optics, smart home systems, video surveillance, access control and server room solutions.
